[NASHVILLE, OCT. 13, 2010] Capitol Records held a free street concert in Nashville on Wednesday night to benefit local Nashville School District needs for school supplies. The night turned out to be a real treat for the fans as Darius Rucker and Keith Urban took on the stage for a special surprise duo performance . They sung together on Keith’s song “Rainin’ On Sunday” , which was perfect for the rainy Wednesday!

David Nail‘s debut album, ‘I’m About to Come Alive,’ landed in the Top 20 last year, and churned out three singles, including the Top 10 hit, ‘Red Light.’ Now, the Missouri native is working on his sophomore album, which he says is both exhilarating and intimidating. But music wasn’t always Nail’s passion. Growing up, he wanted to play baseball. Although David had several small college offers to play ball, he decided music was his passion. Darius Rucker admits he’s obsessed with football. And now he’s teamed with Athlon Sports to create End Zone Obsession which will give fans the chance to compete against one another, or against Rucker.
The country singer told ESPN, “I’m so passionate about football, just like I am about my music…So I thought it would be challenging for people who love football to pick some winners and win some prizes.”
So how does End Zone Obsession work? Every week, participants will predict the winners of each NFL game. For every correct pick they’ll earn points. At the end of each round, the 10 highest point earners will receive prizes. But that’s not all. The fan with the end-of-season highest cumulative point total will win a grand prize trip for two to Hawaii.
On the radio charts, Darius is currently enjoying spot number 6 with his “Come Back Song“.
